Culture

La bibliothèque suspendue de Jean-Claude Loubières

Jean-Claude Loubières crée la première version de la Bibliothèque suspendue en 2007. Elle comprend une vingtaine d'ouvrages spécialement remaniés pour s'adapter à une reliure en spirale métallique. Au fil des années, cette installation originale s'enrichit des nouvelles parutions. Elle compte aujourd'hui 33 oeuvres, tous identiques a priori. L'artiste souhaite permettre à chaque " regardeur " d'examiner le livre à loisir, sous toutes ses coutures. Selon lui, les livres sont faits pour être manipulés : ils doivent vivre, bouger, voyager.
